Persons experiencing strong suicidal urges, are advised to contact the local emergency services, a local hospital or a local hotline to receive immediate assistance. For more information click HERE. HICOL will not hold accountability for persons with suicidal behaviours, thoughts, or actions.
Chat & Forum - Live Support
We promote a supportive and amicable atmosphere in our forums. We do not tolerate the use of any of our services while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Abuse towards other members or staff of HICOL will not be tolerated. Any such incidents shall be reported immediately and followed up by severe action. Consequences for abuse and inebriation include being banned from our service and hence excluded from the website and forum without refund. Payments
Payments may be made via MasterCard and Visa through PayPal or via a deposit to HICOL’s bank account. For maximum security, SSL encrypted connections (https) are used to facilitate all payments. Your private bank details are never divulged to us or any other third parties.
Cancellations and Refund Policy
Canceling Your Programme
You may cancel your entire treatment programme before it commences and receive a full refund. Please note that once you have been assigned a therapist and begin therapy, you are no longer eligible for a refund.
Rescheduling Your Session
There is no fee for rescheduling and you may reschedule a session at any time. However, if you do not call in or email your request for a reschedule at least 30 minutes before the start time of your session, a rescheduling fee* of $50 TT is imposed.
Refunds
We refund clients in situations where it is determined by your therapist that you have achieved the set objectives and you have additional sessions prepaid for on your account. If you decide to suddenly quit therapy without fulfilling your set objectives or because of a ‘relapse’ of some sort, you will not be refunded. The prepaid sessions will remain on your account for a period of 18 months should you decided to recommit to getting better at a later date.
*Always remember to contact us at least 30 minutes in advance if you are unable to make it to an appointment to avoid rescheduling fees.
Therapists Responsibilities and Liabilities
It is the responsibility of the therapist to ensure that he/she works only with people he/she is allowed to work with in accordance with local, state or national licensing restrictions. It is the sole responsibility of the therapist to ensure that he/she has legal cover in case there is litigation and to ensure that the information provided about himself/herself and his/her qualifications is accurate and current.
